Trumpet flowers blow, tidy tips and sunshine daisies. Merry marigolds, China pinks and yellow cosmos. Larkspur lilac, Flora's bell, sweet narcissus, bliss hazel. Rise, arise from your sleep, larkspur of Peru, lilac of Crete. Awake from your quaking glade lay, enchanter's nightshade unfold today. Arise, April's empire arrives. We'll see how sweetly her breezes blow beneath her chroma-keyed skies. Realize, autumnal dirges are lies, from slumber's urges we're torn and then reborn again into light, ain't that right! Trumpet flowers blow tidy tips and sunshine daisies. Merry marigolds, China pinks and yellow cosmos, stargaze lily, Queen Anne's Lace, gloriosa, blue snowflake. Awake, all you glories of snow, stargazineg willow strum Azalea's bow. Arise, April's empire arrives, stirring plums from their slumber, wiping sleep from her eyes. I knew right then how there is no end now, I know the way. I knew it when I went through it then, I realized that I would rise again someday--I know the way.

Rip It Off! 03:16
It's so obvious that everything is free in a rich man's world. Waste not want not, in this most perfect of worlds. The rich get fatter while the poor stay thin, the game is rigged and you can never win, so rip it off! Chorus: C'mon, steal it! Just rip it off, baby! C'mon, steal it! And if the fat cats get so blinded with greed and keep the stuff you need, well you know you gotta do whatever you can and if they're swimming in gold and left you in the cold, well you know, stick it to the man! Just rip it off! [Chorus] Because the cameras can't see you, no , the cameras can't see you, so go ahead and rip it off! Now in the first world, the rich drive by in their limousines while you and I, we're just nickeled and dimed--we're just driven to our knees. A hungry man is an angry man, when the chips are down you do what you can. [Chorus] Because the cameras can't see you, so go ahead and rip it off, just rip it off.

Pocket Petal 03:21
Keep me tucked away like a petal that you plucked in May. Save me for a winter's day to remind you the summer days aren't really far behind you. Hide me in the sand wherever sea meets land. Keep me close at hand whenever you need a memory of better weather. Chorus: Two by two, I'll be there, I'll be there for you, anywhere the going gets rough and the lot you got just got a little bit tougher. Fold me like a plane whenever you feel rain, and I'll always remain 'cuz I love ya. I'll try my best to hover right above ya. Keep me close at hand when snow covers the land. Remember me whenever you need memory of lilacs on the sweet breeze. [Chorus]

Jump Back 04:11
There ain't no free lunch, so pay your bill. If the left one doesn't get you, then the right one surely will. And even old J.C., he got paddled too and iffn' they got him, why the heck won't they get you? Chorus: All I can say, is when it comes your way, you better jump back! Baby, baby, jump back. Jump back baby! Baby, baby, jump back. So let me cue you in to the situation, let me cue you in to reality, on a B-line for your behind, on a B-line for your booty. It's custom-made for your caboose and it fits it to a T. They're making one just for you like they made one just for me. It don't really matter, if you've been bad or good, when you hatched they just snatched and sanded down the wood. [Chorus] No it's never been a question of if or how, merely just a matter of when. If it hasn't happened yet, it will, I bet, 'cuz we all get it in the end. Let me cue you in to the situation, let me cue you in to reality, on a B-line for your behind, on a B-line for your booty. When it comes, you can't run, the best thing you can do is jump back. When it comes, you can't run, the best thing you can do is jump back. So cry out to your momma, to your daddy too, in the end it''ll get you friend, it's a mandatory rendezvous. Whatcha gonna do when it comes to gitcha? Right on the back where the good Lord split 'cha?

The Way 03:15
The way that you're going to win it, is the same way you're going to lose. It ain't wrong or right, it ain't black or white--just gray either way that you choose. Chorus: So there's no mistakes either way that you take is a "could-be," and neiter are "shoulds." The machinations of fate harmonize and vibrate to a melody misunderstood. The way that you're going to lose it, is the same way you're going to win. And where the path bends may feel like the end when it's really beginning again. [Chorus]

Maybe we've had too much to think. We could go Monet, or we could teeter on the brink. Butterfly bombs over the Aries fields, cuz when the going gets tough, the tough get surreal. We do the Duchamp stomp at the Dada pop show, we do the Toulouse twist and the Vincent Van Gogh-Gogh! Chorus: Gogh-Gogh! We do the Vincent Van Gogh-Gogh! Transcendence is the artist's intention so wave your hands into another dimension! Crocodile tears through an absinthe haze. Sugar-cubed in our Cubist days. Gysin's dream machine decrees the word. 'Cuz when the going gets tough the tough get absurd--that's the word! Yeah, yeah, the Dali hop at the Dada pop show, we do the Toulouse twist and the Vincent Van Gogh-Gogh! [Chorus] You put one foot in and then another foot in and then another foot in, yeah, that's how we do it. [Chorus]

She swings minor C sweetly and once again she finds me when I'm sitting at the old cafe sipping visions from an iced latte. She strums all of her strings numb, patio adagios, dirges dangled in the air and flatted fifths all tangled in her hair. She's wild in many ways the child you used to know so long ago-- with sorrow falling all around, and heaven's here with that sweet sound. She's strange, she doesn't mind the rain, lightning rings, she's giggling-- drenched as the branches fall dressed up just like a china doll. When everyone runs into hide, she runs outside, she runs outside. Watch her rise through the blue, watch her laugh so hard she cries. She swings minor C sweetly, once again she finds me when.....

I could've sworn that you were somebody else. Nobody warned me, I was fighting myself. I should have known that the cards were stacked, baby, yes, 'cuz when you bite the house you know the house is gonna bite you right back. Rubber and glue, that's me and you, what a strange duality. What can I do when the things I stick to you keep on bouncing back to me? Rubber and glue. I should've guessed 'cuz we was dressed just the same--same address, same last name, yes! And, I should have known how the cards, they were stacked, 'cuz when you point a finger, babe, there's three fingers pointing right back. Rubber and glue, that's me and you what a strange duality. So, what can I do when the things I stick to you keep on bouncing right on back to me? Rubber and glue.

Baby G 04:09
Little Baby G, how you love that swing! You dig the highs and the lows and you know, that's what life will bring. So when you're happy or you're sad, just let it all hang out-- you take the good with the bad 'cuz you know, that's what life's about. You're still small enough to cuddle, small enough to call my own. My how time flies, pretty soon you'll be grown. Where will you go? What will you be, my Baby G? Chorus: Sweet Baby G, where will you go? What will you be, my Baby G? Little Baby G, there's so much in store. So just grab what you can, 'cuz you know that's what life is for. Wherever you may go, I'll be by your side-- just strap youself in, 'cuz we're in for a wild, wild ride! You're still small enough to cuddle, small enough to call my own. My how time flies, pretty soon you'll be grown. Where will you go? What will you be, my Baby G? [Chorus]

It takes a mighty big man, mighty big big mighty big mighty and strong to admit that he's wrong. Well, it takes a mighty big fool, mighty big big mighty big fool to believe in his infallibilities. Oh my! I picked the wrong side of the fight! Hope I like the taste of humble pie--(that's what you'll be eating tonight!) That's right. Chorus: You got it right, you got it. Got it all got it all, you're alright you're alright. 'Cuz a wise man knows when he's lost the fight, (baby, you done got it right!) Well now, it takes a whole lot of cool, takes a lot takes a lot takes a lot to admit you ain't too legit. Well, you know the bigger the pride, farther then farther then, then follows the fall, and that ain't cool at all, oh no, Oh my! I picked the wrong side of the fight! Hope I like the taste of humble pie--(that's what you'll be eating tonight!) [Chorus] 'Cuz a wise man knows when he's lost the fight, (baby, you done got it right!)

For those of you who pray to open air and those of you who know that there's really nothing there, let's keep ourselves deceived, we need something to believe. Let's keep ourselves deceived, we need something to believe. Chorus: Something! Something to believe! So let's place a human face upon the sky who sees us stumble far below and knows the reason why. let's keep ourselves deceived, we need something to believe. Let's keep ourselves deceived, we need something to believe. [Chorus] There'll be good luck tomorrow with God on our side, and end to our sorrows with little white lies. So chant your mantras and clutch your old wooden cross to stay the waves upon which we all get tossed let's keep ourselves deceived, we need something to believe. Let's keep ourselves deceived, we need something to believe. [Chorus] There'll be good luck tomorrow with God on our side, and end to our sorrows with little white lies. I know the joke is on me, but eventually, I need a reason to believe.

Spider Suite 11:50
AMBROSIA Your web is strung and I'll take the bait. Your trap is sprung now, so don't you hesitate. Do what you'd like, and I'll go willingly because your venom is ambrosia to me. You pierce my flesh, your fangs seep deep-- now I'm dissolving into a sweet and dreamless sleep. Do what you'd like and I'll go willingly because your venom is ambrosia to me. My fate was sealed when I saw your eyes-- now I'm just dancing towards my own demise. Do what you'd like and I'll go willingly because your venom is ambrosia to me. Although it hurts, I can't avoid longing to go where I know I'll be destroyed. Do what you'd like and I'll go willingly because your venom is ambrosia to me. THE WEB The falling stars you wished upon are cinders now and now they're gone. Their residue festoons my fetid field. Revealing husks of lovers past, their shells are all that ever last-- I've taken everything that they've concealed. Whoever told you life was fair? Look around you everywhere, the cruelty of Nature is displayed. Why the scorn? Why the surprise? Everything that's born must die and it isn't I who made the world that way. What wicked little twist of fate placed you here upon my plate? Here where no one hears your cries? Where was your God to steer you through? Perhaps your God's forsaken you? Otherwise, why lead you here to die? MELT AWAY I know the way how, I'll melt away now. I know the way. I'm feeling bliss now, dissolved to mist, how strangely I go away. Now I finally know.... It's merely moments now, moments now until your feeble flesh bends to my will-- and it will, so rest your weary head. There'll be no pain, no pain at all, as everything you are dissolves. Your fate resolved upon my silky threads. I know the way how, I'll melt away now, I know the way. I'm feeling bliss now, dissolved to mist, how strangely I go away. Now I finally know.....
